     I am Teodora Bobarca

I support individuals to become their best version though empowerment. I guide them to develop self-awareness, seek and listen their true inner voice, find, and redefine themselves.

As a registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Health and Wellbeing Coach and Mental Health First Aider I am working with individuals aged 18 and over supporting them to understand how their past experiences continue to affect their life, thoughts, behaviours and relationships.

 

My holistic approach focuses on self-development and healthy communication skills, management of various conditions, improving self-esteem, embody confidence and much more.

Teodora's Background 

Teodora Bobarca MBACP, GMBPSsS, NCPS is a registered professional integrative counsellor, psychotherapist, and health and wellbeing coach, who has worked in the field since 2019.  She received her BA (Hons) degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Coventry University, the MSc in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University and the certificate in health and wellbeing coaching from The Health Coaching Academy (EMCC EQA and PCI accredited). Teodora has worked in a variety of settings, including the Primary Care NHS, mental health organisations such as Mind, Barnet Refugee Service nowadays called New Citizens' Gateway, Primary and Secondary schools and in online private practice.

Teodora collaborates with individuals aged 18 and over to help them navigate a wide variety of challenges, with an emphasis on improving poor mental health, healing past trauma, addressing co-dependency – interdependency developing healthier relationships, reducing people pleasing tendencies, enhancing self-love, self-care and building confidence in individual’s personal and professional lives. She strives to help her clients reach their individual goals in a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment.  Teodora views her work as a collaborative effort between herself and client, in which they partner together to focus on inner healing, explore identity, and develop coping skills to manage life’s stressors effectively.  Her style is warm, open, and empowering, and she considers establishing rapport and building trust the foundations for a strong therapeutic relationship.

Psycholo' Story 

I have founded Psycholo to support people going through difficult times. After the pandemic, there has been a rise in requests for psychotherapy services and I wanted to be part of the solution. With my experience and expertise, I have supported hundreds of people, helping them to get through challenging times and reach their goals.
 

I believe that everyone has the potential to thrive, and I would love to help you reach this potential. My approach is to provide a safe and confidential space and use various psychological models to support and empower you to make the changes you would like to see in your life.
 

With a personalized approach, I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for clients to express themselves and find the best solutions for their issues. I also provide online sessions for people who prefer to access the service from the comfort of their home.

At our psychotherapy practice, we offer a variety of clinical approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Each approach is tailored to the individual client's needs and goals, so you can rest assured you will be receiving the most suitable treatment for you.
